#1 RITESH - I Saw Someone

So it was the first time when I was late for my bus. My college was at eight and I have to catch the bus of seven fifteen to reach to college at seven fourty five. But, as I mentioned before, I was running late, I missed the seven fifteen's bus. Their remains fifteen minutes of gap between each buses. So I don't have any options other then waiting.

I saw the first ray of hope exactly at seven twenty nine, when the second bus arrived. I entered in the bus. Seeing non other then crowd of people and not a single vacant seat. Thats the main problem with that bus. I preffer the previous bus just because sometime, I get the seat in that, and even it is less occupied. I drove straight to the safest area of the bus by cutting many people aside which were standing in the middle, and I reached to the end part of the bus compartment. I call this the safest part, because, none of the passenger try to interrupt or disturb asking to give a side their.

The bus was over occupied. So, their I was, standing with the passenger of crowded bus. I was watching everyone. The baby boy to the lady standing behind me (Even I can't stop making a funny face to make him smile, but I felt shyness). The old men sitting in the front seats, the sophisticated driver, the jobbers and workman standing holding the hanging straps, one boy sleeping peacefully on the seat, making me jealous, most of the youngsters looking down at there phones. Most of the ladies covered their faces with dupattas just like indian women do and a officeman talking loud on the call that disturbed everyone in that bus.

Well, their I saw 'her' the first time. She was one of those girl who didn't cover there face with dupatta. She was standing at that place of the bus, whom I call second best safest place. It was near the second doors of the bus beside the windows in the middle of the bus. While watching the whole bus like Sherlock Holmes, my eyes met her's. It was around ten seconds long straight eye contact when I looked aside and took out my phone and pretended everything was normal. She had earphones plugged-in in her ears. She was wearing white tees and blue jacket. She had awesome dark brownish hairs that were not fully open. She was carrying a Tommy Hilfiger's bag which was half radium green and half dark blue. But I don't know why, I could say that she was sad. Her face depicted stress. Her eyes were beautiful, but it depicted sadness. It was like she just wanted to cry but she was trying a lot not to bring out a single tear. I don't know, if I was over thinking or what. I forgot to tell that I was actually noticing her for a while when she saw me once, breaking my link, I again pretended that I was looking out of the window which was beside her.

The whole twenty minutes journey which was actually boring for me was actually turning up interesting.

Finally, the person sitting on the seat behind me got up, so I went their to sit, but then I saw that lady with the baby that was standing behind me. She needed that seat more than me right? I asked her to sit their and the situation was like that, that she didn't denied and sat their with relief.

At last, that girl went off the bus near Political garden, which was two stop before mine. These whole area have most of the colleges of the city. I saw her walking out of the bus with effort of cutting the queues and I even saw her after the doors were closed and bus departed from that stop and till that stop was out of the sight.

That day actually brought something in my life, I was focused about. Well, you are thinking wrong. I reached near my college at seven fifty eight and what else I can do was to run fast to my class and reach on time. It looked impossible. But, I ran fast cutting the winds, saluting the security watchman at college gate, having a look to college parking, even tried to focus on the birds chirping loudly and then racing with the other late comers like me. But luckily, I reached to my class on time that day.

It was another day of another week, when I was again going late for the college. Still watching the empty road to show a feeling of hope that stop me turning into Mikha Singh to reach college.

My over crowded buddy arrived on his time at seven thirty itself. I entered the bus. Again while cutting the crowd and reaching to my safe zone, my eyes were on the verge of finding someone. I saw her standing at the same place as before. That sweet innocent eyes that depicts a story. That face, watching the world outside the windows but actually was busy thinking about her own world. Even for once, I had a eye contact with her that day.

Somewhere in my mind, I decided that now, I have to read the story that her eyes were trying to say. So now, I told to myself that I was going to be late for the college everyday…
